Email spam has been a pain just about from the very beginning of the internet. It affects our daily life as we must repeatedly hit the delete key or “mark as spam” when trying to read messages that we actually need to read.

We have to go back and look through the trash folder or junk mail in order to see if we’ve missed an important message from the boss or the bank where we just applied for a loan, all because our email filter didn’t think it was a legitimate message.

I came across a great article by Michael Bluejay at WebsiteHelpers.com. It’s a great overview of options when dealing with spam. There are things you can do to minimize the email spam, but there are consequences to each of them. In the end, it’s a personal preference.
